Programmed by Suhaimizs on GDevelop using an 'isometric template' with a little mouse as the main character.  Go and speak to all the creatures and try to find the creature with the "terrible tusks, and terrible claws, And terrible teeth in his terrible jaws" and look out for its "knobbly knees, and turned-out toes, And a poisonous wart at the end of his nose" . "His eyes are orange, his tongue is black, He has purple prickles all over his back."

This virtual park game maybe useful for Primary School English teachers to engage young learners with the story of Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson. Special thanks goes to Sarah and Cindy who gave their ideas to let the mouse be the main character and have the gruffalo follow it like in the book too.

The story is based on a Chinese folk tale of a fox that borrows the terror of a tiger. Donaldson was unable to think of rhymes for "tiger" so instead she invented a word that rhymes with "know".
